De Witte Lelie ('The White Lillie')

Multiple times a month, I get e-mails from would-be visitors to Antwerp asking me where to stay in style on their upcoming shopping quest. So, in answer to this, AitnP will be doing a series of styling editorials set in our favourite hotels around the city. Simply substitute yourself for the model in these photos, and imagine yourself fashionably immersed amongst the glorious backdrops (minus any contrived posing, naturally).

And what better way to start things off than 'De Witte Lelie' boutique hotel. Walking through the grande reception hall and common area, one feels like they've died and gone to retro-glam heaven. The bright, carefully-selected modern furniture pieces set against the tall ceilings, sparkling chandeliers, and winding staircases of the old building create a wholly unique and tasteful interior.

In a word, the combination is perfect.
