Drawing courses in Antwerp

Do you want to develop your portfolio? Are you preparing for a degree in art or fashion? Or, are you simply curious if you have the knack for drawing? Whatever your ambition or skill level, Marijke and Ross can be the mentors that help you realise your goals.

Marijke Vasey and Ross Hansen are accomplished artists and lecturers who recently moved here from London because (gasp!) they love Antwerp. It's nice to see international talent like these two further validate my preachings!

For the summer, the duo will be mentoring students (or aspiring students) and artists from all over Europe in their quaint design studio on the St. Vincentius Straat. If you want to join them and learn alongside the likes of Central Saint Martins talent, for example, pay attention to the following dates:

July 16th-20th
Intensive Life Drawing

July 23rd-27th
Intensive Degree Prep: Approaches to Drawing

August 6th-10th
Approaches to Drawing for Artists

You can take on a week-long intensive programme, try a one-day workshop, or just drop in as you please (during the specified hours, of course).

Come fall, Marijke and Ross are planning life drawing and fashion illustration evening classes, so if you'll be on summer vacay on the above mentioned dates, you can still sign up for later dates.

I know Marijke and not only is she a very sweet person, but the small sample of her work on her website has made me an instant fan.
