Join the club!

Do you have a weak spot for chick lit? I'm not talking anything heavy here - this IS a fashion site. But if you loved Bergdorf Blondes and The Jane Austen Book Club (whereupon this idea came to me), AntwerpIsTheNewParis is starting your kind of book club.

The plan is to pick one book a month that we will meet and discuss (over a cocktail, of course), and then review and rate for the site's readers.

The books don't necessairly have to be hot off the press, but something that looks interesting or has generated some buzz.

We fashionistas need to brain-train so we can tackle the tough stuff like wardrobe choices and trend forecasts.

If this sounds like your thing, e-mail me at kerri@antwerpisthenewparis.com so we can decide on our first book and meeting place. Maybe we could try a new cocktail bar every time, and do two reviews in the process! Well, we'll definitely need a cocktail after all that discussion.

Food for thought:
The Twilight movie is coming out in November and my bias is to tackle the books first, and see if the movie lives up to all the buzz. Opinions?
