Demeulemeester was a key pioneer of the deconstruction era of the 80‘s/90’s and is one of the more famous members of the local 'Antwerp 6'.

The most well known of the 'Antwerp 6', Dries Van Noten helped put Antwerp on the international fashion map. His designs are typified by a bold and eclectic mix of patterns and textures, harmonized with relaxed silhouettes.
