Veronique Branquinho belongs to the second wave of Antwerp designers who came after the original Antwerp Six, along with her ex-boyfriend Raf Simons, now at Jil Sander. There's a little Atwerp gossip for you.
After her first collection was showed in Paris, she won the VH1 fashion award in 1998 for Best New Designer. Five years later she opened her first store on the famous Nationalestraat. The store itself is beautiful, with clean lines, natural undertones, and an eye for detail, just like her clothes.
