Another Ackermann aficianado

Tilda Swinton isn't the only celeb fan of Haider Ackermann's 'easy luxury' looks; now, Penelope Cruz too has lended star support to the up-and-coming designer's label.

In fact, she didn't care the same outfit, albeit in a different colour, was even worn by Swinton months ago at the Cannes film festival. For some actresses, this, inanely, becomes a PR nightmare for the label in question - SJP's post-Lilo Nina Ricci dress and Reese Witherspoon's post-Kirsten Dunst Chanel Oscar dress both come to mind - but considering the un-diva-like Ackermann aesthetic, I doubt either of these actresses will be pulling any diva-like behaviour as a result.

With the the infallibility of decades-old fashion empires at their disposal, it's nice to see actresses support young designers sometimes.

PS. These Ackermann jackets deserve Rick Owens-like cult status.
