I remember when I was 17, I thought a Gap cable sweater was cool. So, when I see pictures of Emma Watson, normally an unremarkable looking girl, looking very remarkable and cool at her Harry Potter photocalls, I am even more ashamed at my past track record. For 17, this girl has got it together.

Imagine having that sense of self at that age? I didn't know my Manolos from my Louboutins, let alone throwing them on and having them look right.

Emma is able to wear fashion forward labels like Christopher Kane and Proenza Schouler, while still looking age appropriate and true to her self. Her contemporaries should take note.
