Met Costume Institute Gala: Worst Dressed
There were many 'what the hell were they thinking?' looks to choose from lastnight, but there were a few that easily upstaged the others.
Chief amongst the losers was Vogue chief editor Andre Leon Talley, who decided not to bother changing out of his bathrobe for the event. He did, however, opt to swap his slippers for some Roger Vivier flats. After all, they were probably bespoke to fit his not-so-female-sized feet.

Equally ridiculous was the arrival of Madonna in this Alice in Wonderland Louis Vuitton mess. She was preceded on the carpet by host JT and his girlfiend Jessica Biel, who always seems out of place in high fashion attire. This is likely attributed to the desparation that comes across to cross over from B-list to the A team.

I was not surprised to see Heidi Klum on the worst dressed list, but I was to see Rihanna suffer the same fate. It just looked too much like a costume. I know the event is hosted by the 'Costume' Institute, but there is no need for literal interpretations.

And finally, rounding out the worst dressed of the night was Renee Zellweger in a puke green Carolina Hererra, and Blake Lively in a very outdated Versace number. Blake's onscreen persona would not even associate with such an assy dresser.
