With superstars like Natalie Portman rocking it regularly on the red carpet and having earned its place on Vogue's editorial rotation, it's hard to believe we were introduced to Rodarte only three years ago.

As such, the Mulleavy sister were much favoured to take home the CFDA Womenswear prize this year for their unique breed of romance, intricate weaving and drapery, and couture-like details.

It's just a shame we don't have a selling agent in Antwerp. The label would fit in nicely next to Proenza at Sien, for example (*wink and a nudge).

Although then I would probably have to file for Chapter 11 after signing my life away on a sweater dress.

Eat or dress? Dress every time.

The CFDAs also brought out a few of our favourite design muses, who seemed to call ahead to coordinate.

I'm having a hard time picking my favourite dress here. I kind of like all three equally. Kirsten's Nicholas Kirkwoods definitely are in the lead on the foot front, though. Love Kirkwoods.
