Lohan appointment better than Hilton, I guess

By now you've probably heard that Lindsay Lohan is the new artistic 'advisor' to Emanuel Ungaro, as appointed by president Mounir Mouffarige. The same guy that fired Karl Lagerfeld from Chloé and put Stella McCartney in his place.

Of course, McCartney proved to work out, but passing up on Lagerfeld is like passing up on a sure thing. Sure things are not easy to come by in the world of fashion.

Now, details are emerging that Mouffarige chose Lohan from a pool of other equally unqualified celebrity candidates that included Madonna and PARIS HILTON.

Paris Hilton, who single-handedly can kill a trend just by wearing it and lessening its appeal.

Even Lindsay is the superior choice in that context.

However, I think we all know how this will all turn out, and it's not looking good for the brand.

Lohan can't even land a job in Hollywood, and now we're supposed to take her seriously in fashion?
