Model for a Day: Elise!

Elise won our previous Model for a Day contest, and received a full-on model treatment at Karen Devriese's home studio. Read all about her experience, and take a look at the fab results!

"Of course when I had to get to Denderleeuw my train was delayed and I missed my buss connection. Murphy's law, right? Luckily I had Karen's phone number so I could let her know, and she was really nice about it. Once I got at her place, she and make-up artist Sylvie put me right at ease!"

"I love that Karen shoots at her home studio. It's still entirely professional, but it's much more cosy. We ended up shooting some pics in her garden, as well, which was fun."

"I'm not the insecure type, but I still felt a little weird posing in front of the camera. Karen was really helpful though, always giving me directions and helping me feel at ease."

"Being made up professionally was a revelation! I never use any make-up, so it was interesting to see what Sylvie could do."

"I didn't really think long about my outfits, I just grabbed some basics and a couple of dresses. Maybe I should have paid more attention to what I brought along, because the right accessories can really liven things up."
