Fall's Top Five: Dries Van Noten (#2)

Unfortunately, none of these ruddy shades flatter my rosy complexion, but I love them all the same.

Specifically, I love the combinations of colours Dries Van Noten brought together in his fall '09 collection.

And so did everyone else! You can see the single-handed influence of his collection all over the high street.

I remember reading that Dries realized he had reached a new level of success when he saw a counterfeit iris print blouse on eBay. Well, with the high level copyright infringement on this collection, I guess this means he's officially on top now.

The saturations, the silhouettes, the sunglasses - it was all very forties, which felt very right now.
