Fall's Top Five: Prada (#3)

Only Miuccia Prada could make OTK hunter wellies fashionable. That alone would be worthy of a top-five finish on the fall collections.

However, it was the rich mustard, burgundy and jewel-tone velvets that did it for me.

I am obsessed with velvet right now. I think I've bought three velvet pieces in the last month alone, albeit at H&M, not Prada. Sigh.

Take a cue from Prada and pair the velvet with a tweed pencil skirt or short (less likely, perhaps, in this weather), or a boyfriend blazer - for something a little more now and a little less BBC drama.
