Messenger madness

Anyone who knows me can attest that I am not a classicist. They probably would add that my style is a little schizophrenic even.

But lately, with Hannah Macgibbon's camel coordinated fall Chloe collection fresh in my mind, even I am warming to khaki. Warming, not wearing. Yet.

What's more, I have caught myself eyeing the most classic of handbags, the bookish Messenger.

One step at a time, I will give in to the Messenger in the hope it can cure my khaki identity crisis.

Although, perhaps it's not an identity crisis at all, with the new breed of Messengers little resembling any newsboy associations.
