Accessory brand Avril Gau succeeds in being both unique and wearable, which too often in fashion are convergent goals.

It is not unique in an 'out-there' kind of way, which can detract from wearbility, nor is it wearable in a 'creative surrender' way either.

The bags and shoes are simply retro-inspired, not overly-trendy, comfortable accesories for everyday wear.

I have tested these wedges out myself, and as someone who cannot survive a full day on heels, I can glady report I did not have to exchange them in for flats mid-morning. And, rightly, this does not constitute any compromise on style.

As for this studded purse - it is unique, wearable, inspired and every-other-favourable adjective used above in abundance.
